A few weeks ago we presented you a video from the exhibition of Boris Missirkov and Georgi Bogdanov. Their retrospective “Portratits 92-13” exhibition, exposed at the Sofia Art Gallery, combines more than 80 portraits the authors have made for the last 20 years. And we say “combined” because there are portraits of personalities from the Bulgarian culture and politics – from actors and directors to writers and musicians.

The exhibition closed at the end of January and if you didn’t have the time or chance to visit it, now you can browse through some of the portraits at missirkovbogdanov.com/92-13.

There you can spend some time and go through the gallery, and even make an order of some of the portraits, put on porcelain saucers. Yes, that’s right, we can afford you porcelain saucers with a print of various portraits – from the melancholic Marius, to the young Stefan, Kamen and Maya, or even Sergey Stanishev – with so closed eyes, very appropriate deed to the reality, or “other political monkeys” as the authors say. The artistic saucers are a part of the Tribal Worldwide Sofia’ s ad campaign addressed to the “Portraits 92-13” exhibition. If you want some more information what are they all about and what their idea is, just watch the videos under this line.

In support of the exhibition’ s subject “A portrait of Missirkov and Bogdanov like the others”, the videos show portraits of Marius and Georgi Lozanov, presented by some of the Malashevtsi flea market’s denizens – a favourite spot to the photographers, and maybe not only to them.
