Люба Христова е добре познат градски герой в София, забъркващ множество интересни проекти и събития в SOHO – минималистично коуъркинг пространство за хора от креативния сектор. Вила Максим е естественото му морско продължение. Люба ни разказва за къщата в Синеморец, но най-вече за хората около нея, които правят Вила Максим специално място. Компания ни правят няколко голдън ретривъра и децата на Люба – Макс и Фей. Споделя ни, че и двамата мъници са направени тук и след появата им чувстват мястото още повече като дом. А кучета и деца тук са добре дошли и тичат свободно и щастливо навсякъде из градината!
Много от посетителите научават за Вила Максим от свои приятели и така органично се получават приятелски компании. Хора, които могат да оценят мястото и търсят простите удоволствия в живота – да си откъснеш сам грозде, да си играеш с кучетата или да изядеш филия с лютеница под сянката на лозата. Питаме Люба как сама вижда своята роля и тя споделя, че е „човекът който внася уют и събира хората”. Обобщаваме, че е един вид фасилитатор, който се грижи хората да се чувстват вдъхновени и щастливи, за да създават нови неща.
Мястото се променя с всяка година, а креативните идеи и размахът, с който създават нови неща, става все по-уверен и мащабен, не само в архитектурно-интериорен план, но и що се отнася до преживявания и създаване на общност. „Постоянно мислим какво можем да разчупим и какво още може да се случи тук. Скоро се запознах със страхотни автори, които творят в чужбина и казаха, че искат да дойдат тук. Това е мечтата ни с баща ми и дори имаме стая точно с тази цел – да я даваме на приятели и артисти.”
Синеморец е едно от малкото останали морски села, които не са презастроени и са запазили духа си. Екосистемата и развитието й е много важна цел за цялото семейство и си мечтаят за цял фестивал в Синеморец, а ние нямаме търпение това да се случи!
Люба е главният виновник и за красивия минималистичен интериор. Разказва ни, че лудостта й по всичко скандинавско идва още от много малка. Стаите са чаровни, уютни и функционални, а ако имате късмет, можете да се будите с прекрасна гледка към морето. Вази със свежи цветя, фотографии и илюстрации на български артисти дебнат зад всеки ъгъл. В красивата градина има много зеленина, лятна кухня, барбекю и големи маси, които приканват посетителите да прекарват време заедно.
Luba Hristova is something like an urban legend in Sofia, always creating exciting projects and events at SOHO. Villa Maxim is its natural seaside extension and embodies the same positive friendly spirit. Luba shares stories about the house in Sinemorets, but mostly about the people around her that make Villa Maxim a special place. Luba’s children – Max and Fay together with the family dogs keep us company. Both of the kids are conceived here and after they were born the place feels even more like home. All dogs and children are welcome here to run freely and happily everywhere in the garden!
Most of the visitors learn about Villa Maxim by word of mouth, getting recommendations from friends and in this way organically creating friendly companies of people that can exchange ideas and stories. This is a place for people who can appreciate and seek the simple pleasures of life – picking grapes from the vine tree, playing with the dogs in the garden, or eating a slice of bread with lyutenitsa (traditional Bulgarian tomato dip) under the shade of the tree. Asking Luba how she sees herself and her role here, she shares that she is “the person who brings comfort and gathers people.” We both agree that she is some kind of a facilitator that makes people feel inspired and happy to create new things.
The place changes every year, with the scope of their creative ideas becoming bigger and more confident with each summer, not only in terms of architecture and interior design but also in terms of experiences and community-building. “We are constantly thinking about what we can create out of the box and what else can happen here. Recently, I met some great authors who work abroad and said they wanted to come here. This is a dream come true for me and my father and we even have one room exactly with the purpose to host artists and friends.” Sinemorets is one of the few remaining seaside villages that have not been overcrowded with new buildings and retained their authentic spirit. The ecosystem and its development is a very important goal for the whole family and they dream of a whole festival in Sinemorets. We just can’t wait for that to happen!
Luba is also responsible for the beautiful minimalistic interior. She tells us that her love for all things Scandinavian comes from a very young age when she spent some time in Sweden. The rooms are charming, cozy and functional, and if you are lucky you can wake up with a wonderful view of the sea. You can find vases with fresh flowers, photographs and illustrations by Bulgarian artists lurking around every corner of the house. The beautiful garden has plenty of greenery, roses, a summer kitchen, barbecue and large tables that invite the guests to spend time together and to know each other.
